Crafting Witty, Colorful Designs That Move
Hello there, my name is Evan Lockhart
I’m a multidisciplinary visual designer with a background in video production, an eye for design, and a long-running obsession with how things move, feel, and hold together. I didn’t start in design school dreaming of logos. I started by telling stories with video, which naturally pulled me into motion, branding, and building visual systems that actually work.I like to color outside the lines, but I still respect the page. My work lives somewhere between colorful nostalgia, quirky satire, clean vectors, and a little retro grit. Motion plays a big role in how I think, because good ideas usually don’t sit still.
I design and animate across mediums to help brands tell their story clearly, authentically, and without taking themselves too seriously. Sometimes that means building systems from the ground up. Other times it means working within tight constraints and finding the fun anyway.
I’m currently based in the Pacific Northwest, where I split my time between designing, animating, hiking, and trying to defeat the imposter syndrome.
