Endpoint Security App Icons

Hewlett-Packard

Role:
Designer

During my freelance stint at Decoded Advertising, I had the thrilling opportunity to design app icons for Hewlett-Packard. Reporting to the art director, this project was a key part of a high-stakes pitch, blending modern design with a touch of retro flair to showcase HP's digital identity. The challenge was to create app icons that not only looked strikingly modern but also carried a hint of nostalgia, resonating with HP's timeless brand values. My approach involved collaborating closely with the art director, engaging in numerous brainstorming sessions, and refining concepts to infuse them with just the right blend of modernity and retro charm. Although the designs were crafted for a pitch and not the final product, each icon was meticulously crafted with the same passion and attention to detail as if it were the real deal.

This project highlighted seamless teamwork with Decoded Advertising’s creative minds, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas. The icons seamlessly combined bold, contemporary aesthetics with subtle retro elements, designed to captivate attention while evoking a sense of reliability and familiarity.
